Construction Ambassadors give young people a real-life perspective of the industry by visiting their schools and giving presentations or organising activities.
This national network of people who already work in construction ranges from young graduates to experienced workers, and covers all the trades and professions.
Co-ordinated by CITB-ConstructionSkills, a Construction Ambassador’s main role is to share his or her experiences of a career in construction and help promote the industry as a whole.
We work in partnership with SETNET to ensure that the Science and Engineering Ambassadors Programme Construction Ambassadors work alongside each other to co-ordinate activity.
Linking with a Construction Ambassador will also give you links with local companies.
For details of Construction Ambassadors in your area contact your local education team.
