Creative Spaces is a new Design and Technology resource that represents a joint educational venture between CABE (Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment) and CITB-ConstructionSkills.
The initiative aims to support students at KS3 and KS4 in their understanding and appreciation of the built environment, through an exploration of school design.
Originally developed for a national schools' competition, Creative Spaces encourages students to play their part in designing the school of the future, via a time-travel tour of schools through the ages, before inviting them to create a comprehensive design process for what liesĀ ahead.
Working in partnership with CABE to create Creative Spaces 2, we have helped develop a brand new Design & Technology resource aimed to further support teachers and students.
