The ConstructionSkills' Site Safety Plus Scheme is a comprehensive health and safety training programme designed to provide the building, civil engineering and allied industries with a range of courses for individuals seeking to develop their skill set in this area. They are designed to give everyone from apprentice to senior manager the skill set they need to progress through the industry. From a one-day Health and Safety Awareness course to the five-day Site Management Safety Training Scheme, our courses will ensure everyone benefits from the best possible training. ConstructionSkills announced on Wednesday 25th July that it has made an agreement with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to bring the award-winning Government Achieving Behavioural Change (ABC) health and safety course to the wider industry. The recently launched Achieving Behavioural Change (ABC) course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of how attitude and behaviour can affect the chances of accidents occurring. For this course to be successful it is important that all attendees come from all levels within an organisation i.e. Managers, Supervisors and Operatives. The course is available through the ConstructionSkills training division, the National Construction College (NCC), as well as now being available for accreditation through the ConstructionSkills approved training providers across the UK.
