There's no need to worry about your test as long as you are prepared for it. There is no substitute for good health and safety training.

If you have been trained, have experience and good health and safety knowledge you may find that you only need to practice the test questions. Those with less experience may find that more intensive preparation would be better, such as a one day course.

There are a range of publications and courses available to help you train and revise for the test. Just use the dropdown box to find out which one is suitable for you, and how to purchase them.

Please note: The Test question bank has been revised. It is important to make sure you have the correct revision materials. If you are taking the test from 2 April onwards you will need to ensure you use either:

The new materials will be available to order from mid February and will replace all previous revision materials, which will not be suitable after the end of March.


		Practice materials

		The Test Question Book Contains all the questions you could face in the test, put together in a simple, easy to read format. This is also available in Welsh. Copies of the book cost £8.49 The Test Question CD-Rom Contains all the questions you could face in the test, with a voice-over to questions in English and mock-up tests so you can practice. This is also available in Welsh. Copies of the CD-Rom cost £10.99 Both the Test Question Book and the Test Question CD-Rom are available through 4 different routes: when you book your test through Prometric’s dedicated website from 0870 600 4020 from a variety of high street and online retailers Health and Safety Test for the Professionally Qualified Person – The Test Question Book Contains all the questions you could face in the test, put together in a simple, easy to read format. Please note: The Test Question books and the Test Question CD-Rom are not available for purchase from CITB-ConstructionSkills. Health and Safety Test questions and answers do change from time to time in line with regulations. CITB-ConstructionSkills will make every effort to keep the test book up to date. CITB-ConstructionSkills will not test any candidates on any questions that are no longer in line with legislation and will not test any candidates on any questions that do not feature in the most up-to-date published book.
