The industry asks ConstructionSkills to collect an annual Levy from all liable employers. Grants are then given to employers who train. This is seen by our industry as the best way to support training.


		The Grant Scheme Working Party

		The Grants Scheme Working Party (GSWP) monitors the take-up of the Grants Scheme, reviews grant provision, maximises the Training Committee budget, considers amendments to the Grants Scheme and recommends changes to the Training Committee, considers appeals against staff interpretation of the Grants Scheme and recommending actions accordingly to the Finance Committee.
