People who wish to start a career in the scaffolding industry and are motivated to work hard to become valuable members of the construction workforce. Apprentices should have a good head for heights, and have a highly developed sense of responsibility.
To provide training and assessment in the methods of erecting and dismantling both basic and complex scaffolds together with practical and theoretical knowledge to achieve the Scaffolding Scheme A framework.
This course is part of the Apprenticeships programme, is approved under the Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme (CISRS) and within the training, apprentices will undertake the necessary elements to qualify for a Scaffolders Card.

Entry requirements
All candidates will be required to complete a Skills Learning exercise, and some will need to attend the college for further tests.
